I just knew your hometown had to be in central Florida! Reading your post about the land disappearing and how you described it sounded so familiar. I am in Altamonte Springs, just about half an hour from zellwood. Zellwood sweet corn is one of my favorites! When they tore out two of the oldest orange groves down the road from me to put up apartments i cried. I am so happy to have found your storytelling! Thank you. I feel seen.
